Ophir Energy plcDirector and PDMR Shareholding
Following the effective date of the scheme of arrangement of Salamander Energy PLC (the 'Scheme'), Ophir Energy plc (the 'Company') announces the acquisition (through the Scheme) by Directors and PDMRs (and of persons connected to them) of ordinary shares of 0.25 pence each ('Shares') in the capital of the Company as follows on 2 March 2015 (the "Effective Date"):

*on 25 February 2015 Tony Rouse exercised options over 168,616 Salamander Shares at 10p each that had vested under a Salamander Share Scheme. The resulting entitlement to 168,816 Salamander Shares was converted into 96,430 Ophir Shares, which are included in the above number.
As a result of the above, the shareholdings of the Directors and PDMRs in the Shares of the Company have increased as follows:
