Swallowfield plc announces that directors of the Company, their spouses and members of their family in whose shares that they are deemed to be legally or beneficially interested in, purchased a total of 10,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 15 September 2008 and 7,000 ordinary shares in the Company on 16 September 2008. The amounts of the individual purchases and the resultant beneficial shareholdings are noted below. Purchases were made at a price of 85 pence per share.
