DIRECTOR'S SHAREHOLDING

Michelmersh Brick Holdings plc (the "Company") was notified on 3 October 2011 that Frank Hanna, Group Commercial Director, has transferred for nil consideration 17,451 ordinary shares of 20p each ("Shares") to his wife, Natasha. Following this transfer, Mr & Mrs Hanna's interest remains at 1,262,917 Shares, representing approximately 2.2 per cent of the Company's issued share capital.
