Appointment of Director

Further to the announcement made on 22 September 2015, Publishing Technology plc (AIM: PTO.L), the leading provider of world-class software and services to the global publishing industry, is pleased to confirm the appointment of the Company's current Chief Technology Officer David Montgomery (46) as Chief Executive Officer.

David joined the Group in November 2014 from Inspired Thinking Group (ITG), a Tech Track 100 company where he held the position of Managing Director of Software Operations. Prior to that, he spent ten years as Director of Technology at 5 Fifteen, the software systems and consultancy company, before joining media content company, ATEX, where he held various roles, latterly as Chief Innovation Officer. David has over 20 years' industry experience and a proven track record in delivering and supporting software development.

At the date of his appointment, Mr Montgomery holds 8,400 shares in the Company.
