The Board of The Income & Growth VCT plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Cartwright as an independent non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 August 2010.

Mr Cartwright was Finance Director of Caledonia Investments plc from 1991 to December 2009. He was also a non-executive Director of Bristow Group Inc. from 1996 - 2009 and has been a non-executive director of Serica Energy plc from 2008 to date.

There are no details in respect of Mr Cartwright requiring disclosure under paragraphs 9.6.13 R (2) to (6) of the Listing Rules.
