Advanced Power Components PLC21 April 2006 Advanced Power Components Plc ("the Company") Director Appointment The Board of Advanced Power Components plc, a specialist distributor andmanufacturers' representative of electronics components, is pleased to announcethe appointment of Rod Muir as Finance Director, with immediate effect. Rodney Frank Muir, aged 57, has been financial controller with the Company sinceMarch 2004. Mr Muir is a management accountant with previous board level andcompany secretarial experience in the manufacturing, service and distributionsectors. Mr Muir holds options over 500,000 ordinary 2p shares. These options areexercisable until 2016 at an exercise price of 6.25p, subject to performanceconditions.
