Frontera Resources Corporation (London Stock Exchange, AIM Market - Symbol: FRR), an independent oil and gas exploration and production company, was notified on February 14, 2012, by Stephen E. McGregor, Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company of the purchase of 600,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"). Following the share purchases, Mr. McGregor holds a total of 13,044,292 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.61 percent of the Company's issued share capital. The share purchases occurred at the available market price as set forth below.
