The Board of the Company announces that Christopher Casey, Chair of the Audit Committee and non-executive director of the Company, has been appointed as a non-executive director of Fidelity Special Values PLC with effect from 1 January 2025.

This disclosure is made pursuant to paragraph UKLR 6.4.9R.

Christopher Casey retired from the Board of The European Smaller Companies Trust plc at the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting held on 25 November 2024.
