SIG plc announces that Leslie Van de Walle, Non-Executive Chairman, has been appointed as an independent Non-Executive Director of La Seda de Barcelona S.A., a leading European plastic packaging supplier, with effect from 9 February 2011. La Seda de Barcelona S.A. is listed on both the Madrid and Barcelona stock exchanges.
