Avanti Communications Group plc (AIM: AVN), the satellite operator, was informed today by John Brackenbury, CBE, Chairman, that he has today bought 10,000 shares at 267.125 pence per share.

John Brackenbury now holds a total direct and indirect voting right interest in 390,432 ordinary shares in the Company, being approximately 0.47% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
