Avanti Communications Group plc (AIM: AVN), the satellite operator, was informed on 16 June 2011, by Alan Foster, non-executive director that on the same day he purchased 4,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of 346.5 pence per ordinary share.

Alan Foster now holds a total direct and indirect voting right interest in 388,750 ordinary shares in the Company, being approximately 0.47% of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
