VinaLand Limited (the "Company" or "VNL")

Director Appointment and Resignation

VinaLand Limited ("the Company" or "VNL"), the AIM-quoted investment vehicle established to target strategic segments within Vietnam's emerging real estate market, announces that the Board of Directors has appointed Mr. Ian Lydall as a new Independent Non-Executive Director, effective 25 October 2016.

Ian Lydall, aged 61, is a UK chartered accountant (FCA) with 39 years professional experience, most of which was with PwC and its predecessor firms. Ian's career has been in the UK (19 years), Oman (2 years), South Africa (3 years) and Vietnam/Indochina for 15 years. His in-depth accounting, audit and advisory experience has been in several different sectors, principally investment management and other financial services and FMCG. Ian was the territorial senior partner of PwC Indochina from 2001 to 2008 and CEO then Chairman of PwC Vietnam until his retirement from the firm in June 2015.

Since retirement from PwC, Ian has taken up independent non-executive roles with ACLEDA Bank Plc. Cambodia and AAA Corporation Vietnam (where he is Chairman) and is an adviser to Talentnet Corporation Vietnam.

Mr. Lydall will replace Mr. Nicholas Allen, who has resigned effective 25 October 2016 from the VNL Board in order to pursue new challenges. Mr. Allen was elected as a Non-executive Director in 2010 and was the Chairman of VNL's Audit Committee and Remuneration and Nomination Committee as well as a member of VNL's Valuation Committee. As a result, the total number of VNL Board members remains at five.

Michel Casselman, Chairman of VinaLand, stated: "I am very pleased to welcome Ian to the VinaLand Board and his past experience in accounting, audit and corporate governance in Vietnam and the region over the last 15 years will greatly assist VNL as it continues to develop and realise its property portfolio. At this occasion I also want to thank Nicholas Allen for his valuable contributions to the VNL Board and wish him all the best with his new challenges."
