Director and PDMR Purchase of Shares
Trident reports that it has received notification today that Adam Davidson, Director and CEO of the Company, purchased 65,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Shares") at 16.5 pence per Share on 28 October 2019.
Further to the announcement on 10 October 2019, the Company is pleased to announce that Tyron Rees has been appointed as Vice-president, Corporate Development. Mr Rees has over 10 years' experience in the natural resources sector, most recently with Resource Capital Funds (RCF), a mining-focused private equity firm. Prior to RCF, Tyron held various roles with Sandfire Resources and Newmont Goldcorp in a technical capacity as a Metallurgical Engineer. Tyron is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, is a CFA Charterholder, holds a Master of Finance from Charles Sturt University and graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Minerals Engineering.
Mr Rees also acquired 65,000 Shares in the Company at 16.5 pence per Share on 28 October 2019.
Adam Davidson, CEO of Trident said: "The appointment of a high calibre senior executive to the position of Vice President Corporate Development further strengthens our capacity to deliver on Trident's strategy. Tyron brings a proven track record of creating value and his broad financial and technical expertise will be particularly valuable. Following these transactions, Mr Davidson's interest in the Company is 65,000 Shares, which represents approximately 0.30% of the Company's issued share capital and Mr Rees's interest in the Company is 65,000 ordinary shares, which also represents approximately 0.30% of the Company's issued share capital.
