Correction: Total Voting Rights

The following amendment has been made to the 'Total Voting Rights' announcement released on 31 December 2013 at 08:00 under RNS No 3221W.

The number of total Common Shares in issue and held in treasury were incorrect and should have read 2,167,837 Common Shares in issue and no Common Shares held in treasury.

All other details remain unchanged.

Akers Biosciences, Inc. (AIM:AKR), a leading designer and manufacturer of rapid diagnostic screening and testing products, today announces that the Company's total issued share capital at the date of this announcement comprises of 2,167,837 common shares of no par value ("Common Shares"). The Company holds no Common Shares in treasury, therefore the total number of Common Shares with voting rights in the Company is 2,167,837. 

The above figure may be used by shareholders in the Company as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the share capital of the Company under the Financial Conduct Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
