CONVERSION OF SUBSCRIPTION SHARES

JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc announces that it has issued 332 Ordinary shares following the exercise of conversion rights by an uncertificated Subscription shareholder.

The shares in issue following this notification are 17,081,339 Ordinary shares and 3,556,334 Subscription shares.
