WYG plc  ("WYG" or "the Company") Board changes 

WYG announces that, further to the RNS issued by the Company on 16 December 2009, John Richardson, Non Executive Director and Chairman of the Company's Audit Committee is to retire from the Board with effect from 31 January 2010. John joined the Board 12 years ago and on 31 July 2009 announced his intention to retire from the Board after the Company's Annual General Meeting.  However he subsequently agreed to stay on the Board until the Group's refinancing process was concluded.

Non Executive Director David Jeffcoat, who joined the Board on 16 December 2009, will assume the responsibility of Chairman of WYG's Audit Committee with effect from 31 January.  David brings a depth and range of financial experience, having held a number of senior positions during his career including Group Finance Director with Ultra Electronics Holdings plc until his retirement in April 2009.

WYG Chairman Mike McTighe said, "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank John for his significant contribution, commitment and service over the last twelve years and wish him well in his future endeavours. We are very fortunate to have an individual of David's calibre to step into this important role during this transformational period for the Company."
