Board changes

Swallowfield plc ("the Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Martin Hagen as Chairman of the Company with immediate effect. Mr Stephen Boyd who recently joined the Board has been appointed the Senior Independent Director.

These appointments are a result of concluding the process which was outlined in the Company's announcements of 27 April 2011 and 8 July 2011.

Martin Hagen, Chairman commented "I am very pleased to have been appointed as Chairman. We are entering a new phase of the Company's development and the Board will focus its full attention on implementing our strategy to grow the business and deliver improved shareholder returns."
