An initial order has already been received by the Bahrain office from a majorschool for bomb-blast resistant film (consisting of four sites in Bahrain duefor completion at an estimated total value of £90,000). Additional recent overseas contract gains in the Middle East totaling £107,000include the installation of PPR's blast resistant FT800 safety film andanchoring for a major petrochemical company in Egypt, and FT800 film, anchoringand Bullet Proof windows for another petrochemical company in Algiers. PPR isalso undertaking further projects totaling £150,000 in Qatar, Uzbekistan, Sudan,Iran and Dubai. The company already has operations across the Middle East and Europe,and as was referred to in the announcement on 25 November 2005, Mr HaythamElZayn, a recently appointed non-executive director based in the US will helpPPR to open up significant markets within the United States. Mr ElZayn isPresident of National Administrative Solutions Corp ("NASC") and he will promotePPR's products through NASC's extensive distribution and commercial network.This will focus on PPR's glazing protection systems for homes and commercialbuildings (providing protection against bomb blast and hurricane damage), whilstdistributing PPR's film and anchoring products into the wholesale buildingproducts market, and PPR's automotive products into the extensive US car retailmarket. In June 2005 Mr ElZayn acquired 14,322,349 shares in PPR (currently representing8.6% approx. of the issued share capital).
