ArmorGroup International plc31 January 2007 ArmorGroup International plc Group Director of Marketing appointed ArmorGroup International plc, the leading international provider of protectivesecurity services, today announces that it has appointed Andrew Martin, theformer general manager to the 'All Blacks' rugby team, as its Group Director ofMarketing. Andrew will join the company on 1 February 2007 and will report toNoel Philp, the Group's Chief Operating Officer. Andrew (49) joins ArmorGroup from Prismo, Jarvis plc's roads division, for whichas Managing Director he led a successful recovery programme and coordinated itssale to Ennis Paint Inc. While at Jarvis he also managed and improved theperformance of a number of different divisions. Andrew was the first full timeprofessional General Manager to New Zealand's 'All Blacks' rugby team holdingthe position from 2000 to 2002. His responsibilities included developing a fullyprofessional team support structure, building the brand and business as well ascoordinating the logistics and management of the team. Previously Andrew servedwith the New Zealand Defence Force with appointments including: Commander of theNZDF's contingent in Bosnia; Commanding Officer of the NZSAS; Inspector Generalof the NZ Army; and Chief of Operations for UN forces in East Timor and Kuwait.
