Appointment of Co-Fund Manager

The Board of Henderson European Focus Trust plc is pleased to announce that Andrew McCarthy has with immediate effect been appointed Co-Fund Manager of the Company's portfolio alongside John Bennett. This follows Janus Henderson's recruitment of Andrew in July to work alongside John on his European long-only funds and mandates.

Andrew joined Janus Henderson Investors from USS Investment Management, where he was a portfolio manager specialising in industrial and consumer sectors. Andrew has held positions at Capital International Research and is a CFA charterholder with 20 years' experience in the industry.
