IQE PLC09 January 2007 IQE plc9 January 2007 IQE plc ('the Company') ADDITIONAL LISTING Application has today been made to the London Stock Exchange for 30,240 ordinaryshares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to tradingon AIM. These Ordinary Shares are being issued pursuant to the exercise of shareoptions by former employees under the IQE Employee Share Option Scheme. Admission of these Ordinary Shares is expected to become effective on 15 January2007. Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the shares to beadmitted to AIM. Following this issue the total number of ordinary shares of 1p in issue is430,032,727.
