Roc Oil Company Limited ("the Company" or "ROC")

Additional Listing

Further to ROC's application to AIM for the admission of up to 146,656,751 Ordinary Shares in the Company (the "Application") and announcement of the previous allotments of shares under the Application, ROC announces that it has made a further allotment of 6,127,201 shares under the Application*. Admission of these shares is expected on 21 October 2008 and the shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing shares in issue. 

These shares have been allotted in connection with ROC's acquisition of Anzon Australia Limited ("AZA") ("the Offer") and ROC has allotted in total 132,791,572 shares under the Application. In total, under the Offer, valid acceptances have been received over 161,166,415 AZA shares. 

Following the issue of these further shares, ROC's issued share capital consists of 577,275,272 Ordinary Shares. Further allotments of ROC shares to be issued pursuant to the Offer are expected as acceptances are received and announcement of the expected dates for admission of these shares will be made in due course. 

* 5,147,773 shares of the 6,127,201 shares that have been further allotted today relate to ROC's purchase of a holder of Anzon Australia Limited options in exchange for ROC shares under the Options Purchase Deed.
