Kingspan Group Plc ("Kingspan") announces part completion of the acquisition of CRH Insulation Europe, ("CIE")

Further to the announcement on 11 November 2010 regarding the acquisition of the European insulation business of CRH plc, Kingspan, the leading provider of low energy building solutions, is pleased to announce that the transaction has been approved by the German, Dutch and Irish competition authorities as well as the relevant works councils.

Consequently, Kingspan completed the acquisition yesterday of the European polyisocyanuarate ("PIR") business and the Dutch expanded polystyrene ("EPS") and roofing elements business of CIE. Completion of the acquisition of the remaining CIE businesses will occur at the end of Q1.
