Zotefoams PLC08 May 2008 8 MAY 2008 Zotefoams plc ("Zotefoams" or "the Company") AGM Statement and Trading Update At today's Annual General Meeting of Zotefoams Nigel Howard, Chairman, will makethe following statement: "At the time of the preliminary results announcement for the 12 months ended 31December 2007 on 4 March 2008, I commented that the Polyolefin businessperformed well in 2007 and trading for the first two months in 2008 was in linewith our expectations and that the development of High-Performance Polymers(HPP) continues to progress. I am pleased to be able to report that the strong sales growth experienced inthe second half of 2007 has continued in 2008 with strong trading and profitgrowth in the first four months of this year compared with the equivalentperiods in the prior years. Our Polyolefin foam business has experienced good sales growth in all our majorgeographic markets, enhanced by the strength of the Euro in this period. Salesin the HPP segment are currently below levels experienced at this point lastyear. However, during May we are scheduled to make the first shipment of ZOTEK(R) F material for the large application on the Boeing 737 aircraft announced on3 March 2008. We continue to make progress in our High-Performance Polymerssegment and although timing of revenues remains difficult to predict we remainof the view that the growth prospects from this segment are very exciting. We therefore remain confident of the Company's future prospects". Zotefoams plc expects to announce its interim results for the six months ended30 June 2008 on 5 August 2008.
