XP Power PLC15 August 2006 XP Power plc ("XP" or "the Company") Transaction in Own Shares Pursuant to the Company's share option scheme, 5,004 options have been exercisedtoday. The Company has met this requirement for shares by the issue of 5,004shares from its holding in treasury. Following the disposal of these shares, the Company has 20,704,621 ordinaryshares in issue including 1,682,371 treasury shares held by the Company. For reporting purposes under section 198 of the Companies Act 1985, the marketshould exclude any shares held in treasury.
