Directorate Changes
Xpediator (AIM: XPD), a leading provider of freight management services across the UK and Central and Eastern Europe, announces that Mark Whiteling, non-executive chairman of the Company has resigned from the Board with immediate effect.
In addition, Stephen Blyth, founder and deputy chairman of the Company has also resigned from the Board with immediate effect. Pursuant to the terms of the relationship agreement between the Company, Cogels Investments Limited ("Cogels") and Zeus Capital Limited, Cogels has the right to appoint a nominated non-executive director to the Board. Subject to the satisfactory completion of requisite due diligence checks, Cogels will nominate a new non-executive director to the Board.
Finally, Rob Riddleston will assume the position of interim independent non-executive chairman. The Board will continue to have two independent non-executive directors (including Rob Riddleston). Following these various directorate changes, the Board will make further announcements as appropriate, of new appointments to the Board, but also in terms of succession planning generally and progress in appointing a permanent CEO and permanent chairman.
