Appointment of Non-Executive Director
The Board of Xpediator, (AIM: XPD) a leading provider of freight management services across the UK and Europe, is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert ("Rob") James Riddleston as a non-executive director of the Company with effect from 1 July 2018.
Rob, aged 63, joins the Company as an experienced corporate banker with extensive experience of the logistics sector and corporate banking through his career at Barclays. In 2005, he became head of Barclays' Transport & Logistics division, in charge of managing corporate clients across the sector in the UK and leading industry sector strategy. As well as being an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), Rob is also a Fellow of the Institute of Logistics & Transport (FCILT), has authored Barclays' Logistics Confidence index since 2012 and is a frequent guest speaker and judge at logistics sector conferences and awards ceremonies.
Chief Executive of Xpediator, Stephen Blyth said, "I am very pleased to welcome Rob to the Company. He is a well- known industry figure, with extensive connections across the sector which together with his banking expertise, makes him a significant addition to our Board.
