Board Update

White Young Green plc announces the departure of its Commercial Director and Company Secretary, Denis Connery.

Following a review of operations across WYG, it has been decided to re-position all commercial functions into the business units under the direction of Paul Hamer, Chief Operating Officer. This move will offer our customers a technical and commercial service which is completely dedicated to their specific needs.

As a consequence of this decision, Denis Connery, currently Commercial Director will be leaving the Group by mutual agreement. Bob Hartley, Group Finance Director will assume the responsibility for company secretarial matters.

Commenting on the announcement, Lawrie Haynes, Chief Executive said: 

"As we continue to grow, it is essential that we make sure our commercial activities are tailor-made for the wide range of customer groups we serve. This is why we have decided we need to de-centralise the commercial function and, instead, have the appropriate specialised commercial teams in each of our five main business units. I would like to thank Denis Connery for his contribution to the Group and wish him well in his future career."
