Trading Statement

This announcement is released by Worldsec Limited (the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group") and contains a loss estimate and inside information for the purposes of Article 7 of the UK Market Abuse Regulation.

The board of directors of the Company (the "Board") wishes to announce that, based on a preliminary review of the unaudited management accounts of the Group, the Group is expected to record a loss attributable to owners of the Company for the six months ended 30th June 2022 estimated to be in the region of around US$530,000, as compared with a profit reported in the previous corresponding period. The estimated loss would primarily be attributable to a negative change in the fair value of the financial assets of the Group.

The information relating to the loss warning statements contained in this announcement, which is based on a preliminary assessment by the Board with reference to the Group's unaudited management accounts for the six months ended 30th June 2022, has not been reviewed by the Company's audit committee nor audited by the Company's auditor. Shareholders of and potential investors in the Company are therefore advised to exercise caution when dealing in the Company's shares.
