Worldsec Ld15 February 2008 To: Company Announcement Office NOTIFICATION OF MAJOR INTEREST IN SHARES Worldsec Limited (the "Company") was notified on 13 February 2008 thatSingapore Technologies Capital Services Private Limited ("STCP") disposed of2,751,000 ordinary shares of US$0.001 each in the Company on 13 February 2008representing approximately 20.58% of the ordinary shares in issue to HCInvestment Holdings Limited ("HCIH"). Following the above disposal, STCP isno longer interested in any shares of the Company. The Company was notified by HCIH that HCIH, a company incorporated in BritishVirgin Islands with limited liability, is wholly owned by Mr. Henry Ying ChewCheong ("Mr. Cheong"). Mr. Cheong is currently the Company's DeputyChairman and Executive Director. Mr. Cheong personally holds 950,000 ordinaryshares in the Company representing approximately 7.11% of the ordinary shares inthe Company, and in addition, Mr. Cheong owns 2 ordinary shares of US$1 each inGrand Acumen Holdings Limited ("GAH"), representing 25% of the issued sharecapital of GAH.
