Board Appointment

Worthington Group plc is pleased to announce that John Taylor was appointed to the Board as non-executive director on the 26th August.

Pete Townsend, Director, commented "We are delighted to welcome John to the Group. He has had a long relationship with Worthington over many years, having been a Director up until 2004, and will bring valuable experience to the Board in relation to the proposed development at Keighley".

John Ramsden Taylor, aged 66, currently has no other directorships in any other publicly quoted company. He currently holds 54,508 ordinary shares in the Company, representing a holding of 0.46%.

Other than the information set out above, there is nothing further to be notified under the Listing Rules.
