Declaration of Dividend
Wireless Group PLC is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has declared a special interim dividend of 6.15 pence per ordinary 7 pence share (“Special Dividend”) which will be funded out of the net sale proceeds of the recent disposal of UTV Television. The Special Dividend will be paid on 15 July 2016 to all shareholders on the company’s register of members at the close of business on 20 May 2016.
This Special Dividend is separate to the company’s final dividend which will also be paid on 15 July 2016, to all shareholders on the Company’s register of members at the close of business on 20 May 2016, conditional upon shareholder approval at the company’s annual general meeting for 2016. Details of the amount of the recommended final dividend will be contained in the notice of the AGM which will be sent to shareholders in due course.
