Workspace Group plc ("Workspace") statement regarding McKay Securities plc ("McKay")

Workspace notes the announcement earlier today regarding a possible competing offer for McKay by Slate Asset Management L.P. ("Slate"). Workspace also notes that Slate has not made a proposal to McKay.

The directors of McKay today re-iterated their unanimous recommendation of the Workspace offer as announced on 2 March 2022. The associated scheme circular was also published today, and the shareholder meetings will be held on 27 April 2022.

A further announcement will be made if appropriate.
