Majestic Wine PLC15 December 2006 Majestic Wine plc (the "Company") Total Voting Rights In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, the Companynotifies the market of the following: As at the date of this announcement, the Company's issued share capital consists of64,041,800 ordinary shares with a nominal value of 7.5 pence each ("Ordinary Shares"),with voting rights. Following the cancellation of 1,660,000 treasury shares with a nominalvalue of 7.5 pence each on 15 December 2006, the Company does not hold any Ordinary Sharesin Treasury. Therefore, the total number of Ordinary Shares with voting rights is 64,041,800. The above figure of 64,041,800 Ordinary Shares may be used by shareholders in the Companyas the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are requiredto notify their interest in, or a change in their interest in, the share capital of theCompany under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
