The Company has today been notified that on 23 November 2010 Steve Lewis (Chief Executive Officer) exercised 72,150 options to subscribe for ordinary shares of 7.5p each ("Ordinary Shares") under the Majestic Wine PLC Unapproved Employee Share Option Scheme. Of these exercised options, Steve Lewis sold 46,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 377.00 pence each. Following this exercise of options and share sale, Steve Lewis has an interest in 97,846 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.157% of the Company's issued share capital).
On the same day, Nigel Alldritt (Finance Director) exercised 35,000 options to subscribe for Ordinary Shares under the Majestic Wine PLC Unapproved Employee Share Option Scheme. Of these exercised options, Nigel Alldritt sold 31,500 Ordinary Shares at a price of 377.00 pence each. Following this exercise of options and share sale, Nigel Alldritt has an interest in 69,310 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.112% of the Company's issued share capital).
