Blocklisting application
Majestic Wine PLC announces that application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the blocklisting of 1,000,000 ordinary shares of 7.50p each ("New Ordinary Shares").
The New Ordinary Shares will be issued from time to time pursuant to the exercise of employee share options under the Majestic Wine PLC Approved Executive Share Option Scheme, the Majestic Wine PLC Unapproved Executive Share Option Scheme, the Majestic Wine PLC 2006 Unapproved Employee Share Option Scheme, the Majestic Wine PLC 2006 Savings Related Share Option Scheme, the Majestic Wine PLC Deferred Bonus Scheme and the Majestic Wine PLC Co-investment Plan.
On exercise these shares will be issued credited as fully paid and will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue. It is expected that the blocklisting will become effective on 19 July 2011.
