Director's Share Purchase

In accordance with DTR 3.1.2, Wilmington Group plc announces that Rory Conwell, an Executive Director, on 12 March 2009 transferred 30,000 ordinary shares in the Company from his personal and his immediate family's personal holding to his self-invested pension fund. There is no change in the beneficial ownership of these shares and his total holding remains at 3,909,356 ordinary shares which is 4.73% of the issued share capital with voting rights.
