Board Appointment

Wilmington plc, the provider of data, information, education and networking services in Risk & Compliance, Healthcare and Professional knowledge areas, is pleased to announce with effect from 11th February 2021 the appointment of William Macpherson to the Board as a Non-Executive Director and director responsible for worker representation. William will join the Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees with effect from the date of his appointment.

William brings a wealth of experience to Wilmington following a successful executive career as CEO of a number of professional education and skills development organisations. He was CEO of QA between 2008 and 2019 during which time the company achieved very significant growth. Prior to that he was CEO of Kaplan International, The Financial Training Company and Wolters Kluwer Professional Training. He is a non-executive director and chairman of Learning Curve Group Limited, Chair of Hatcham College Academy and a non-executive director of the London Film School.

William holds 10,000 shares in Wilmington which represent 0.011% of the issued share capital with voting rights.
