The Weir Group PLC ("the Company") announces that a listing application has been made for 16,779,861 new ordinary shares in the Company (the "Shares") to the premium listing segment of the Official List of the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA") and to trading on the main market for listed securities of the London Stock Exchange plc (the "LSE") (together the "Admission").
The ordinary shares are to be issued in connection with the acquisition of ESCO Corporation as separately announced on 19 April 2018. Completion of the acquisition is expected to occur prior to the opening of the market on 12 July 2018.
The shares will rank pari passu in all respects with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company. Admission of the shares is expected on 12 July 2018.
