Weir Group PLC12 February 2008 The Weir Group Plc -------------------- Application has been made to the Financial Services Authority and the LondonStock Exchange Plc for a total of 150,000 Ordinary shares of 12.5p each("shares") to be admitted to the Official List. It is expected that admission will be granted on 15 February 2008 and thattrading will commence 18 February 2008. These shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued as aresult of the exercise of share awards pursuant to the following scheme: Scheme Shares Weir Group Savings Related Share Option Scheme 2001 150,000 When issued, these shares will rank pari passu with the existing Ordinaryshares.
