EXERCISE OF A CORE AWARD OF 1,287 SHARES MADE ON 17 MAY 2006 UNDER THE VITEC GROUP 2005 DEFERRED BONUS PLAN AND ALLOTMENT OF 385 DIVIDEND SHARES DUE IN RESPECT OF THAT CORE AWARD. 173 OF THE SHARES HAVE BEEN SOLD. NO MATCHING AWARD HAS BEEN MADE IN RESPECT OF THIS AWARD DUE TO PERFORMANCE CONDITION FAILING TO BE ACHIEVED.

LAPSE OF AN AWARD OVER 31,450 SHARES MADE ON 19 APRIL 2006 UNDER THE VITEC GROUP 2005 LONG TERM INCENTIVE PLAN DUE TO PERFORMANCE CONDITION FAILING TO BE ACHIEVED.
