Victoria Oil & Gas PLC09 December 2005 9 December 2005 Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ("the Company") Further to press speculation, the Company refers to its previous announcement of2 December that it is seeking to make an equity fundraising. Pricing and size ofthe fundraising have yet to be determined. In February, the Company raised equity to finance the acquisition of theKemerkol oil project in Kazakhstan and drilling of Well 104 at its WestMedvezhye gas and condensate project in Russia. The proposed fundraising willprovide funds that are essential for the continuation of its developmentprogrammes at West Medvezhye and Kemerkol. Further details to be announced.
