Volex plc (AIM: VLX) announces that Nat Rothschild, Executive Chairman, has been awarded 118,069 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") in satisfaction of his annual bonus payment for FY2023, as detailed on page 108 of the Company's Annual Report & Accounts for the year ended 2023 (the "Bonus Award").
The Bonus Award was satisfied using existing Ordinary Shares, previously held by the Company's employee benefit trust. The Bonus Award shares are being issued at a price of 289.5 pence per share, being the closing mid-market share price on 13 July 2023.
Following the above transaction, Nat Rothschild* is interested in 44,859,906 Ordinary Shares (save for unvested or unexercised awards), representing approximately 24.79 per cent. of the Company's issued share capital.
*Including those shares held through NR Holdings Ltd, of which Nat Rothschild is a beneficiary.
