Director/PDMR Shareholding
Volex plc (AIM:VLX), the global supplier of integrated manufacturing services and power products, announces that Nat Rothschild, Executive Chairman, has exercised 350,000 share options, which were granted in December 2017 under the rules of the 2009 Volex plc Performance Share Plan and which vested on 12 December 2020, through the Volex Group plc Employees' Share Trust (the "Trust").
Following notification of the intent to exercise and the Company's receipt of the exercise price of 25 pence per share and tax due on the transaction, the Trust initiated the transfer of 350,000 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence to Mr Rothschild on 7 January 2021. Following this transaction, including those shares held through NR Holdings Ltd, of which he is a beneficiary, Mr Rothschild will hold 38,415,595 Ordinary Shares in the Company, representing 25.23% of its ordinary issued share capital.
This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of Article 19(3) of the EU Market Abuse Regulation No 596/2014.
