Appointment
Volex announces the appointment of Matt Nydell, who joined the Group earlier this month in the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and General Counsel. In this role, Matt will be responsible for identifying, exploring and pursuing strategic opportunities across the group and for leading all commercial, corporate and regulatory legal functions. On 18th September, Matt was also appointed to serve as Company Secretary, in which role he will support the board of directors in corporate governance matters. Matt replaces Nick Temple, who delivered critical gap support to the group over the past number of months.
Matt has over 25 years of legal and business experience, including 14 years in senior level positions within the telecoms/datacoms markets. He brings substantial experience acting as general counsel and secretary to quoted companies. "We are delighted to have Matt join the Group.
