Victrex appoints Jane Toogood to the Board

The Board of Victrex plc, an innovative world leader in high performance polymer solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jane Toogood as a Non-Executive Director, effective from 1 September 2015.

Jane is Senior Vice President Marketing and New Business Development, Polyolefins, for Borealis. She joined Borealis in 2008 and her roles have included Vice President, New Business Development and Vice President for the Pipe Business Unit.

Jane has a wealth of experience across a number of senior marketing, sales and business development roles within the global chemical industry, including at ICI and Uniqema. She commenced her career in marketing with ICI Colours and Fine Chemicals in 1987, before progressing into operational and manufacturing roles both in the US and Europe. From 2006 to 2008 Jane held a Non-Executive Director role with NHS Harrogate and District Foundation Trust. Jane holds an MA in Natural Sciences (Chemistry) from Oxford University.
