Director Declaration - External Appointment

Victrex plc is an innovative world leader in high performance polymer solutions, delivering sustainable products which support CO2 reduction and enable environmental and societal benefit in multiple end-markets. The Group has been notified that Janet Ashdown, a Non-Executive Director of the Company and Chair of the Remuneration Committee, has accepted a nomination to be a Non-Executive Director to the Board of Synthomer plc (LSE: SYNT). Synthomer is a FTSE listed global speciality chemicals company focused on coatings and construction, adhesives and health and protection. The appointment is effective from 1 July 2025.

Janet's responsibilities at Victrex remain unchanged. Her career includes working for BP plc for over 30 years, holding a number of international positions. Until the end of 2012, Janet was Chief Executive Officer of Harvest Energy Ltd.

Her other Board roles include being a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Corporate Sustainability and Remuneration Committees at RHI Magnesita NV. and a Non-Executive Director at Stolt-Nielsen Limited.
