Proposed Board Change

London, UK., 27 May 2020: ValiRx Plc (AIM: VAL), the clinical stage biotechnology company announces that subject to the completion of the satisfactory background checks, it intends to appoint Dr Kevin Cox as a director of the Company in the position as Non-executive Chairman.

Kevin has over 25 years' experience in the life science industry, covering a wide range of sectors such as biomanufacturing, anti-infectives development, biomedical imaging, pathology, and clinical pharmacology. Serving as CEO of high growth biotechnology businesses, he has extensive experience in strategy, corporate development, M&A, financing and joint ventures.

Kevin has a background in improving translational science, Kevin has developed strong links to government, funding bodies and academia, and has contributed to a number of public sector advisory committees. Kevin currently has non-executive roles with Biorelate Limited, Syndermix SA and the British Neuroscience Association, and is Chief Executive Officer at Biotaspheric Limited.
