Board Changes
Utilitywise plc (AIM:UTW), a leading independent utility cost management consultancy, today announces that Non-Executive Directors Richard Feigen and Paul Hailes will retire by rotation from the Board of Directors at the next Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Company and are not seeking re-election. The AGM will be held on 30 January 2018.
Both Richard and Paul have been Board members since the Company's flotation in 2012, with Richard serving as Chairman until stepping down in October 2016, while remaining a Non-Executive Director. He currently sits on the Audit and Nomination Committees. Paul chairs the Nomination Committee and is a member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees. Immediately following the AGM, Chairman Simon Waugh will join the Audit and Nomination Committees. Accordingly, the Audit Committee will then comprise Senior Independent Director, Kathie Child-Villiers, as Chairman and Simon Waugh. The Remuneration and Nomination Committees will then both comprise Simon Waugh as Chairman and Kathie Child-Villiers.
A process has been commenced to identify at least one suitably experienced replacement for the role of Non-Executive Director, and it is anticipated that the new board member will join certain of the Board committees following their appointment
