("Niger Uranium", "NUL" or the "Company")
Placing Completion
On 6 July 2009 the Directors of Niger Uranium announced that the Company had conditionally placed up to 4,340,052 new ordinary shares (the "Ordinary Shares") at a placing price of 21p per Ordinary Share (the "Placing Price") to raise £911,411 before expenses (equivalent to approximately US$1.5 million at current exchange rates) subject to admission (the "Placing"). The Company announced on 30 July 2009 that it had at that date received completed applications in respect of 3,761,378 new Ordinary Shares to raise £789,889 at the Placing Price. The Company has now received the outstanding completed application for 578,616 Ordinary Shares (the "Final Placing Shares") raising a further £121,509.54. Application is being made to AIM in respect of the Final Placing Shares and commencement of trading on AIM is expected to occur on 3 September 2009.
